If you’re a workplace Safety Manager, Safety Specialist, or safety enthusiast looking to move up and earn a higher salary by creating a solid program while establishing yourself as the subject matter expert...

...then you probably already know that you need a strong foundation of safety policies combined with safe work behaviors and topped off with management support to properly run a safety department and build that track record of results.

So I’m going to spare you that spiel.

There’s no need to drone on and on about how management support is essential to the success of a safety program and you have to get your employees to follow the safety rules when I'm preaching to the choir.

After all, you probably already KNOW that everyone, including employees, taking responsibility for safety is a key tipping point that will allow you to make greater strides in improving safety behaviors and reaching that elusive goal of zero incidents.

You’ve probably heard that behavior-based safety programs cut accidents and injuries 29-72% over time through systematic processes, of course, when implemented correctly. (source: American Psychology Association, apa.org)

Here's what you

MIGHT NOT KNOW

Even if you’re lucky enough to have all your policies and programs in place or if your company invested in done-for-you services (lucky you)...creating a program centered around management support and employee involvement can:

Here's what you

MIGHT NOT KNOW

Even if you’re lucky enough to have all your policies and programs in place or if your company invested in done-for-you services (lucky you)...creating a program centered around management support and employee involvement can:

  • ELEVATE YOUR SAFETY LEADER POSITION WITHIN THE COMPANY

You have a seat at the table.  When executive meetings are called, you're always included because it's well understood that everything they do affects safety and safety adds value and profits to the company’s bottom line.

  • EASILY RAISE THE AWARENESS OF THE IMPACT SAFETY HAS ON THE COMPANY

The idea of “safety is a core value” or “think safety first”, is no longer a pie-in-the-sky wish, but the way business is done.  Through all levels, safety is at the forefront of every worker's mind.

  • BUILD PROMINENCE FOR SAFETY IN ALL BUSINESS DECISION

When new products are designed, machinery purchased, or processes changed, you're involved in every stage of the decision making from conception to implementation to training.  Gone are the days that you walk into work and are faced with fixing the machine guarding or chemical hazards after the fact.

  • FREE UP YOUR TIME TO WORK ON WHAT YOU DO BEST

Imagine never having to facilitate every safety meeting because your front line supervisors have the knowledge, ability, and gusto to do it themselves, leaving you time to focus on moving the program forward.

  • CERTAINLY, MAKE YOU THE AUTHORITY FOR BEST BUSINESS PRACTICES

Departments will come to you and ask how they can improve their processes.  You'll no longer be begging for them to try a safety method, they'll be begging you to help them.

Safety is More Than Regulations? OK.

But what do you mean by that?

When you took on the role of Safety Manager, or when you started your college courses, the very first thing you learned was - there are safety laws that the company needs to follow.

You were told that you had to follow rules from OSHA, DOT, EPA, RMP.  The acronyms had your head spinning.

But wait, there's more…

...you have to manage injuries, train new employees, and keep costs down.

So you set to work, learning all you can about the various things you were “supposed to do.”  The things that you were told the job was about.  And the pile of reg books grew along with the endless confusion and no clear direction.

When does this rule apply? What does that term mean?  How does this report get filed?

You start attending workshops, seminars, joining social media groups.  You took tons of notes, maybe you even started to develop a plan to organize all the things you were responsible for.  (I get it, I love a great Gantt chart)

You started to create a vision for your safety program.  You start to imagine what it will look like when you have all your policies in place and your meeting those frustratingly detailed regulations.

And the more you learn about what you're “supposed to be doing” the longer your to-do list gets.  The next thing you know, you find yourself responsible for all of it and too busy to do any of it.  (honestly, no one’s shoulders are big enough)

But you’re missing a key element to safety management.  The people.

Your success is dependent on the behaviors and actions of the employees and managers.  You need to know how to influence people.  How to sell your ideas to people.  How to get them on your side. (they didn’t teach that part in that seminar, did they?)

And this is where the frustration starts.  You put out a policy no one follows.  Managers aren't holding their people accountable.  And your company is at a greater risk.

You feel like no one cares (but you), no one’s paying attention (so why do it), and it doesn’t matter (as long as the costs aren’t too high).  You keep your head down and stay out of trouble.

Even with the best intentions in the beginning, many Safety Managers abandon their plans, file away their notes, and stop trying.

AND THAT’S WHERE WOULD-BE WORLD-CLASS SAFETY PROGRAMS DIE.

Here’s why most budding safety leaders abandon their visions...

Without a super clear step-by-step Safety Management Process that continuously involves management and employees, most would-be safety leaders get lost. They fall victim to the paralyzing distractions of what’s being thrown at them at the moment.

Claims, inspections, training, and all the other moving parts of a safety program are pulling them in every direction but forward.

They start to believe the same thing as the management team believes - that safety tasks are safety’s responsibility.

Let me get something out now and I'll work on improving it later,” is a daily battle cry.

And instead of looking at what THEY can do to make a difference, the constant thought of “my management team will never support safety” is running through their minds.

AND HERE'S WHY THOSE THOUGHTS ARE SO CRIPPLING...

As a busy Safety Manager with more work than hours, accidents piling up, and policies left unwritten. You literally can’t afford to get off course in moving your safety program forward.

Every detour or delay costs you time, energy, company profits, and YOUR potential earnings.

The more time you spend ramming the regulations down your team's throat and lamenting how they aren’t supporting safety, the harder it is to get them on your side and make the needed behavior changes because they're getting more and more set in their ways.

Therefore, focusing on establishing a strong safety program and culture is one of the few things in your career that you need to get right, the first time.

Luckily for you, with every profit report, incident review, and manager’s meeting you have opportunities to change the communication cadence around safety.

There's still time for you to jump in, clean up the mess, educate your team, and convert the company values to include safety.

That is if you can avoid the mistakes that so many safety managers are making.

The 4 Reasons

Many Safety Managers Can't Get Their

Injury Rates to Zero

(and how to guarantee you will)

REASON #1

Using Lack of Control as a Crutch

(Or worse, accepting a lack of support and commitment as a given)

Most Safety Managers approach this role as if they're in control (their title is manager after all), without understanding the limits to their authority. The belief that what they say will be followed no matter what causes frustration when they find themselves speaking like a broken record to a room of people wearing earbuds. They'll use this lack of authority as an excuse for why accidents happened and the program is stalled. They wait for their day to say "I told you so".

You NEVER stop when they say "No". You change your tactics. No one told you this would be easy, they also didn't tell you that persuasion and campaigning were involved either.

What's amazing is that when you give up this crutch (or poor excuses - I'd say), your mind opens up to more possibilities on how to get them to say YES!

It's time to learn a different way and how to REALLY get people to change their minds, beliefs, and behaviors.

REASON #2

Too Focused on Regulations

(It seems legit, right?)

It seems reasonable that the main focus for any safety department would be regulatory compliance. The problem is that safety regulations are the bare minimum and it will NEVER get you to zero.

Putting most of your focus on the minimums actually slows down and cripples your efforts towards improvement.

But when you turn your focus towards what your team's goals are and what your employees want to see improved, you not only make greater strides in your safety program, but you meet regulations at the same time.

There are very simple steps that will help you achieve BOTH of these goals.

REASON #3

Lack of In-Depth Data Analysis

(Also, not having enough leading indicators)

What gets measured gets managed, but the easiest things to measure in safety are the accidents. By that point, it's too late. Figuring out a way to measure and record leading indicators has ALWAYS been a sticking point for even the best Safety Managers.

When you have precise hazard assessments and behavior analysis, you can easily identify what behaviors can cause injuries. Throw this data into some software and out pops your next safety initiative.

Stop looking at the surface level, to get to zero it's the tiny details in behavior that put the odds in your favor.

REASON #4

Surface Level Collaboration

(if you have any collaboration at all)

You've seen it right? You get an employee safety committee together but it ends up being the Safety Manager show. Or at a manager's meeting where you give your trend analysis to a room of blank faces.

Real collaboration starts when you have solid relationships with your employees and you step back from solving all the problems yourself. When people feel like you're listening to them, they'll speak.

You have to be open to the ideas of your coworkers, even the bad ones because the BEST safety programs will always fail if they're not created through a team effort.

Shhh . . . I'm going to let you in on a

Even though safety management is an ESSENTIAL and quickly growing profession - it’s not always seen as a job that requires training.

Many companies appoint people to the position and expect them to figure it out on their own. They become scapegoats when things go wrong.

A few people will develop the skills to make a REAL IMPACT, while many others fizzle out. Some will go for their degrees and learn the regulations, but fail to apply them in the real world.

And the main reason for this, as you've likely seen by now, is that the barriers to entry are relatively LOW…

...but, the barriers towards EFFECTIVE EXECUTION are fairly high. The training just isn't out there. And they've been stuck learning as they go.

But as long as you can avoid the biggest blunders that sink most would-be safety leaders. The path is paved for you. Your world-class Safety Management Program is achievable.

One where you have everything covered. You know what to do and how to do it. And, you're not the only one preaching safety, but it's a team effort and everyone is reaching for ZERO.

The key ingredient for all this is having a process to keep the whole thing running smoothly while engaging all areas of your company in safety.

And with your permission, that’s what I would love to show you how to create...

Brye Sargent, CSP

Sometimes referred to as the Wonder Woman of safety. After ditching the safety police hat long ago, I've seen more success by working alongside management and collaborating with employees, then EVER doing it all myself. Or by being a drill sergeant to get the message through.

20 years as a safety professional and working in 15 different industries has taught me to pay attention more to marketing and psychology to really make an impact for my employers and workers. And that's why I pursued my degree in psychology and became a certified coach specializing in Leadership and Achievement.

My passion for safety took me, and the companies I worked with, all the way to VPP. I've mentored over 20 facilities reaching for that STAR status. I was honored to be an SGE and assist OSHA with on-site inspections.

After personally training over 125 Safety Managers, I have seen a common thread that is holding so many back; both those entering the field and those stuck on a plateau. That's what Safety Management Academy addresses.

MODULE 2:

IDENTIFYING ALL HAZARDS WITHIN YOUR ORGANIZATION

Now that you have rallied your troops and your team is eager to improve safety and they finally understand that safety makes their jobs easier - let's get started on implementing a solid safety program.

The first step is clearly identifying every possible hazard in your operations. We'll put frameworks in place that not only finds your current hazards but highlights any new hazards quickly and makes it super simple to throw them through your Safety Management Cycle to eliminate them.

When you have strong systems in place to examine how the job is done and how the equipment is holding up, there will be no stone ever left unturned. No accident will surprise you because you already found the potential and, in our next module, eliminated it as much as possible.

» Set up your operating procedures so they're derived from detailed job hazard analysis that looks at ALL tasks within your facility.

» Develop a process for regular and comprehensive facility inspections that involve more eyes than yours keenly looking for what could go wrong.

» Using a safety audit process, you'll examine all the ins and out of your current program to identify what is working and where things may not be fully up to snuff, opening you up for trouble.

» Create multiple systems for employees to not only report hazards but for them to fix them on their own or help identify the best solutions.

» Put your accident investigation results to more use by taking that data and looking at it through your new hazard identification eyes.

» Plant the seeds for the continuous improvement process that will steadily move you closer and closer to the all elusive zero.

MODULE 3:

FINDING AND DEVELOPING THE RIGHT CORRECTIVE ACTIONS

We know our hazards, so let's take steps to eliminate them. Unfortunately, this is the stage of the Safety Management Cycle that most Safety Managers get wrong. But no worries, I've got you.

After module one, this is the MOST IMPORTANT module. In these lessons, you'll learn the tricks to uncovering the best corrective actions that your entire team will be eager to follow. We'll develop a detailed plan on how to execute those actions with absolute success.

You've already laid the foundation of teamwork and support for safety. So we're going to use that to collaborate on eliminating hazards. When everyone is part of developing the solution, there's no push-back when you get to the next step - Implementation!

» Use your new-found influencing skills to collaborate with all parties involved and come up with corrective actions that aren't just a quick fix for now only to be forgotten about or never addressed again.

» Create an action plan process that involves the entire management team and includes every step needed to fix your identified hazards.

» Learn to write policies, programs, or company guidelines in a way that they're understood and future readers clearly see why they're in place. This will phase-out that problem of things reverting back to how they've always been.

» Develop detailed operating procedures that can be referenced regularly and used like an owner's manual for how to do any job in your company.

MODULE 4:

IMPLEMENTING YOUR CORRECTIVE ACTIONS AND EFFECTIVELY TRAIN AND ENGAGE YOUR TEAM

You have your detailed action plan. Your policies, procedures, and training materials are at the ready. If you don't implement them effectively, it's all for naught. Let's not allow your idea to falter and crash.

Being strategic about how your programs are executed and having a strong follow-up method practically guarantees your success. In this module, we'll look at how adults learn so you can craft your implementation around their needs first. We'll get your employees asking you how they can be involved and by using a bit of 'Sales 101' we'll having them buying safety like it's running out of stock.

This is where behavior change either happens or it doesn't. So getting it right matters. In some cases, it could mean whether or not an injury happens.

» Manage your action plan to completion; effectively and on-schedule.

» Learn the tricks to making your training engaging for adult learners so that they're paying full attention and internalizing your message.

» Craft safety awareness campaigns that further embed your training message into their psyche while increasing comprehension.

» Involve your employees in the safety program in meaningful ways that truly make a difference to the program and create a culture of participation.

» Construct a winning program launch event that generates excitement, boosts employee morale, and further solidifies the desire to always think of safety first.

MODULE 5:

OBSERVE AND COACH TO VERIFY UNDERSTANDING AND EFFECTIVENESS

Now that everything is in place and your plan has come to completion, let's make sure it's working the way you expected and giving you the results you want.

Even the BEST plans can fail and if you don't take steps to examine them after they're finished, you're missing the mark, big time. In this module, we'll not only examine what is and isn't working, but we'll take active measures to further increase compliance with your new procedures.

Being a safety leader is being a coach. The front line supervisors and employees make up your team. Without their success, you don't win either. In addition, the data collected in this stage of the process is vital to your continuous improvement process.

» Learn the skills to go beyond saying "good job" to leave them really thinking about what they did right, so they do it again.

» Use the power of clear feedback and discussion-based questions to get to the most out of your safety observations.

» Expand your reach by using employees to correct each other while instilling a "have each other's back" mentality.

» Collect specific data from every interaction increasing your understanding of how well a program is actually working.

MODULE 6:

ANALYZE YOUR DATA AND IDENTIFY TRENDS

We're coming to the end of our Safety Management Cycle. All the data you've collected in the other modules is now ready to be crunched, poked, and prodded so you can find the best areas to focus on that'll give you the biggest impact.

When decisions are made based on data, the drama is taken out of the equation and you're no longer guessing about what to do next. Knowing how to crunch these numbers is one of the biggest differences between an outstanding or mediocre safety leader.

This stage will make your safety program stronger, where you dig deep to REALLY find those problem areas and focus on them through the continuous improvement model. Without good trending data, you'll never get to zero.

» Look at all your reactive data markers, not just injuries numbers but ALL the details that led to that accident

» Identify the proactive and leading indicators to be watching and measuring. These will be your most important injury prevention ones.

» Generate reports that you'll share with your executive staff, all levels of management, and even employees.

» Act on those reports by moving your findings to the next (or first) stage of the Safety Management Cycle: identifying hazards to eliminate.

How to Manage Safety Department Documentation & Recordkeeping

If you didn't document it, you didn't do it - am I right? But all that paperwork can get out of hand and you end up spending a day a week strapped to your filing cabinet instead of out there stopping accidents from happening.

Let me help you streamline your documentation.

There are efficient ways to manage all that paperwork; we'll reduce it, organize it, and have it audit-ready at a moment's notice. It will be so easy to navigate that you wouldn't even need to be present to pass a surprise inspection, your team will be able to find everything.

Time Management and Organization for Safety Managers

How would you like an extra 8 hours in your week? What would you do with it?

There are a lot of moving parts to a top-notch safety program and it's very easy for them to get out of control. A training here, a meeting there, gotta do an inspection, and that crazy guy in production cut his hand AGAIN!

This can play havoc on your calendar and mess with your free time.

But the good news is, there are steps you can take to reign in the craziness.

In this bonus, I'm going to show you how to get more done in less time using tried and tested methods that top leaders use every day.

We all have the same number of minutes in a day, let's make sure you're making yours count and bringing back some balance to your time.

How to Develop an Effective Near Miss Program

Want to get your injury rates down to zero? The best way is to focus on near misses.

The accidents that didn't happen that could have, the unsafe conditions that are found by chance, or the reported hazards that would surely lead to catastrophe. All of these are near misses.

The problem is no one reports them, at least not until someone loses an eye or finger. No matter how much you beg, they don't take the time to document them.

But trending your near misses is essential to find your true problem areas. No safety program is complete without a robust near-miss program.

In this bonus, I'll show you how to define your near-misses, to create easy documentation that is effective, and what to do with the reports you do get.

On top of that, you'll learn the strategies that'll have all your inbox full of actionable reports.

Boosting Employee Engagement with Compliance Area Coordinators

8-12 weeks from now when your safety program is running smoothly, your documentation is in place, and you're nailing those manager's meetings. You're going to look to me and say "What's next, Brye?"

That's what this extra special bonus is for.

Adding this element to your safety program is more advanced, but this will be waiting for you whenever you're ready.

What is it, you ask? Only the BEST way to get your employees, or even your management team, meaningfully involved in the safety program.

Compliance Area Coordinators, as I like to call them, are employees or managers who "own" a specific safety program. They become the subject matter experts on it and are the go-to person for anything related to that program.

Imagine it . . . all training, questions, documentation . . . everything goes on someone else's desk and not yours. What's your job? To train, coach, and audit the handful of people in charge of the programs.

By adding this one element to your safety program, you're solving multiple challenges at once: The time suck of managing regulatory programs, getting employees involved, and creating a culture where everyone is responsible for some part of safety.

By adding this one element, your program jumps from an ordinary safety program to WOW, a model program your safety friends will want to copy!

In this bonus, I'll show you how to select the right coordinators, write a 'job description', train them on their programs, manage their tasks, and create a system of feedback and collaboration.

So, Let's Recap!

When you join Safety Management Academy, you get lifetime access to the core course, bonuses, office hours, and all the templates and worksheets that will transform you from an Underappreciated Safety Servant who is expected to do it all with little to no support to a Respected Safety Executive who is a valued member of the team and blows your team away during monthly program reviews.

YOU DON'T NEED A COLLEGE DEGREE TO BE AN OUTSTANDING SAFETY LEADER, BUT YOU DO NEED TRAINING.

(without proper training, it will take 5 years to reach your earning potential)

  • Working with a coach regularly can cost as much as $10,000 a year
  • Hiring a consultant to work with costs about $1,500 a day + travel.
  • The average cost of one class at any university for a safety degree is about $600 + books.
  • A 6-hour class at an OSHA OTI center or similar runs about $350 and a multi-day class is upwards of $1,000.
  • The time it could take you to learn this from free resources is about 5 years, with lots of trial and error.

PUTTING OFF MASTERING THE STRATEGIES OF SAFETY MANAGEMENT CAN COST YOU IN TIME, PERFORMANCE RAISES, OR A PROMOTION

(that could be about $20K a year)

So, YES, you can 100% piecemeal everything that is offered in The Safety Management Academy program. But, if you haven't done it yet, will you take the time to do it all over this next year?

Or wouldn't you rather have a plan and strategy laid out for you?

Over the last several years, I've trained and worked with 100's of Safety Managers. The five-year timeline is not pulled out of the sky, it is based on my experience in 15+ different industries. Without training, and not just regulations training, it takes YEARS to learn how to be effective and to get results that are more than just easy pickin's off the safety trees.

The ones that decide they can "DIY" it stay stuck where they are. And spend most of their careers getting the foundation in place and running out of time to reach that career goal they dreamed of.

This means if you never get this figured out, you'll never go on to make the salary you deserve...which means you will never be able to choose the company you work for and have to accept whatever offers fall your way.

It's for this reason that I created Safety Management Academy. I want to make sure that you get access to the information and training you need to reach your career goals.

Safety Management Academy is unlike any other professional training out there. It's not some one-day checkmark class from an instructor you never see again or can't chat with when you're trying to apply their training in your real-world situation. And it's NOT some large lobbying group that only sees you as a number and is not invested in your personal success.

Safety Management Academy is a small investment in yourself that pays huge dividends in your future.

(and gives you the shortcut to success)

One that will pay you back for the rest of your life. By letting you make a difference in the world (superhero of the workplace as I like to say)...with the proven strategies & processes to build a track record that any organization will find valuable.

It's a transformation that frees you from the employee mindset that's keeping you stuck and struggling. And lets you become the Respected Safety Executive in your company.

And when you weigh all that against the investment and what it will do for you and your future, then it's an easy choice.

And because I'm committed to elevating the position of the safety manager and making this program as accessible as possible so that as many safety leaders who want it, can use it to shift their roles and advance in their careers...

Safety Management Academy could cost as much as $20,000 for everything that you're getting.

However, because I want you to be able to jump in and start today without hesitation, you can get started with your first installment of just $389.

So tell me...are you in?

Let's Sum it Up!!

HERE'S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU ENROLL TODAY:

WHAT PEOPLE ASKED BEFORE ENROLLING IN

Safety Management Academy

That's a great start! In fact, a 30-hour course is what I recommend to BRAND NEW people, before I created SMA. It's also why I've included my Safety Management Fundamentals into the program.

But what that OSHA class doesn't teach you is how to get around those complicated human tendencies to want to take short cuts and bypass safe work practices. It doesn't show you how to take all the moving pieces of your program and make them all work together so no hazards are missed. And it doesn't touch on how to crunch the data to identify your problem areas.

Safety Management Academy is so comprehensive, it takes all the parts of your program into account.

Oh my gosh!!! You're sooooo ready.

You see, this is the mistake so many safety managers make and you have the opportunity to get it right straight out of the gate! Because these two elements are essential to create the best program EVER and get you to ZERO, you'll want to get started on them right away.

On top of that, the step-by-step process you'll learn in Safety Management Academy will help you gain footing in your new profession.

This is the most common thing I hear from prospective students and I want to bust a myth, if I may…

Becoming a Safety Leader means you're in complete control over how much the management team & employees value the safety program; you no longer run your program as a reaction to their level of support, but instead you begin to influence their decisions & commitment ahead of time.

Let that sink in. . . Many defeated safety managers don't believe this, however, people do change when they have been faced with new knowledge and experiences.

That's what we're going to give them.

Have you ever attended a safety management class, took tons of notes, and went back to the office only to find 3 weeks later wishing you could remember what the instructor said?

With Safety Management Academy you can just hit replay. The program is designed with adult learning styles in mind. Each module has several video lessons so they're more consumable and memorable. This style makes it easy to go back and find the part you want to replay.

To further ingrain the concepts, many lessons come with a study guide and worksheets so you can quickly apply the concept taught to your personal experiences and facility. For example, when we're discussing inspections, you will be guided to create an inspection form and use it before moving on to the next lesson. This watching/listening then applying method improves comprehension and retention of the materials.

Another advantage to an online platform is the ease of access to the downloadable templates, PowerPoints, PDFs, forms and more. You can download them over and over again.

Now, I will be the first to admit that one of my favorite parts of attending live classroom training is the networking with fellow students. That's why a private, students only facebook group is included with your enrollment. In today's super busy online world, friends and connections can be made in more ways than just in person.

True, these terms can be ambiguous, let me expand on them.

Every time I walk into a facility that has maintained an injury rate at or close to zero, everything about the place feels differently. You see their attention to detail, maintenance, service, teamwork. . . everywhere you look. You're greeted not only with safety signage, but by employees that pass on the culture of safety excellence in how they welcome you or show you around.

You can tell that something is different, and that difference is their culture.

Now if this only happened to me once, sure I'd call it a fluke; but I have seen this over and over again. I've also seen the change happen when safety leaders applied the skills taught in Safety Management Academy.

Culture = business excellence = low injury rates

After this course you'll have the skills to keep your program running like a well oiled machine. No surprises. Everything will be in place or you'll have a detailed plan to get it in place. There's a process of continuous improvement in your operations and you're a valued member of the management team. Meaning = you're running your program like a professional.

Short answer. . . ALL INDUSTRIES!

There's a sort of mantra in our profession, "Safety is Safety." Meaning that it doesn't matter what the environment, all the concepts for creating a safety program still apply.

The concepts taught in the core Safety Management Academy course are universal with a focus on creating a management process and developing leadership skills. It doesn't dive into the regulations, let alone specific ones for one industry over another. This is by design, to help as many safety managers as I can to elevate their positions.

The bonus course Safety Management Fundamentals is launching with 12 lessons and an additional 12 are planned for the near future. These lessons will focus on OSHA General Industry regulations.

Your enrollment includes a certificate of completion that lists the number of online training hours included in the course. At this time, it does not include a "certification" or "designation". To learn more about my philosophy about certifications go to www.TheSafetyGeek.com/certifications I do have strong feelings about companies giving out useless certifications. However, The Safety Geek is researching the IACET requirements to become accredited. And, you can request a printable completion certificate following the end of the course.

As long as you need to take, you have lifetime access to all the modules and lessons.

That being said, I recommend that you block out 2-3 hours per week to work on the course materials. This should give you enough time to make regular, steady progress and you can complete the course in 8 weeks. Remember, you also have lifetime access to the student alumni Facebook group, so if it takes you longer than then 8 weeks, because life or work got in the way, you still have the support you may need and Q&A sessions in the Alumni group.

This is a self pace course, you will get all the modules, lessons, and bonuses at one time. This can seem overwhelming for some students. That's why I recommend a steady pace of 2-3 hours a week to avoid paralysis.

I never want someone to feel stuck with their purchase, so, yes, there's a refund policy.

By the end of your first 60 days, you'll have received all the modules, particularly the ones on Management Support, Hazard Identification, and Corrective Action Development.

Meaning you've had the opportunity to start making real changes and improvements to your safety department and you'll have all the tools necessary to do so. You'll be included in management decisions more often, you'll see less and less resistance to your work, and you'll have created at least one action plan.

If you don't feel totally confident and motivated by the possibilities you're seeing (and your ability to manage your safety program like a pro), simply reach out to me at Brye@TheSafetyGeek.com, show me you've put in the work, and I'll refund your investment. Full Details Here

Sure! When you enroll TODAY, you'll get access to: The FULL Safety Management Academy Implementation Program with access to all 6 modules plus the welcome intro module that includes the Safety Management Cycle review and the course review module; all the study guides, worksheets, templates, videos, audios, and PDFs you need to create a world-class safety program with confidence and ease.

You'll also get access to the following bonuses:

Bonus #1: Access to the Safety Management Fundamentals course where you'll be taken through a variety of specific safety programs, learning when they are required, what is required, and how to implement them in the real world.

Bonus #2: The Guide on How to Manage Safety Department Documentation & Recordkeeping. There's no doubt the job comes with a lot of paperwork, let's wrangle that beast and create an organized strategy that will make you shine during any audit or inspection.

Bonus #3: Time Management & Organization for Safety Managers Training so that you can get more done in less time using tried and tested methods that top leaders use every day.

Bonus #4: Access to a Library of Bonus and Advanced Training. It's like an all-access pay to exclusive training that it's available anywhere else.

Bonus #5: Lifetime access to regular Office Hours/Q&A Sessions to get all your questions answered whil you're implementing the program and beyond.

Bonus #6: Access to a Team of Program Experts who are at the ready to give you guidance and support while your going through the program

SAFETY MANAGEMENT ACADEMY is perfect for you if . . .

  • You're just getting started in the safety profession and you want to NAIL IT right out of the gate by using the most powerful, "easy to follow" strategies to boost your success.

  • You've been at it for a few years and keep hitting the same sticking point, every quarter you're trying something new, but it's making little difference, so you're searching for that magic piece that having a step-by-step plan can give you.

  • You feel like your program is on repeat. You find a problem, fix it, only to find that it's still a problem 3 months later, so then you start over again. Nothing you're doing seems to be taking hold or permanently changing behaviors.

  • You like to follow a plan and see how it all plays out, you're a rule follower and can't walk away from a fancy spreadsheet or a finely designed PowerPoint. Your eye for detail is what sets you apart.

  • You have no problem investing a couple of hours a week as long as you know that every bit of energy you invest is a strategic and meaningful step towards moving your career forward and doing a more effective job.

You're ready to start managing your program like a pro if . . .

  • In fact, you already invest 2+ hours a week researching the latest safety management updates and have all your favorite sites bookmarked. Those aren't spam emails you're reading, there are nuggets of valuable information in each one, and you're like a miner trying to take in everything you can.

  • You wish the people you worked with saw safety the same way you do. Even though you work for, and with, good people, you also feel like they could be doing more to support safety. Every time you bring it up, they agree, but either nothing happens or it's never a priority.

  • You're aware of the possibility of a true safety culture within an organization, maybe you even took a tour of a facility that had one, but your company can't get past the minimum regulations to see the big picture of what's possible.

  • You're DONE sitting on the sidelines watching others take the spotlight, getting invited to speak at your regional networking group, or winning the awards at last conferences; you're ready to get the recognition for the work you're doing.

  • You're ready to take your seat at the big table and create a detailed safety improvement action plan that doesn't include just your name in the responsibility section, knowing that this will be the first of many as you work every day to make continuous improvements in your safety program and celebrate every step towards zero.

IT'S TIME TO GET OFF THE FENCE

If you read this far then you're clearly thinking hard about it. There's power in making a decision. Even if that decision is a "No."

It's the indecisiveness that causes stress and stalls progress.

Here's a tip: the question I always ask myself when I'm in a situation like this is:

"1, 3, or 6 months from now - WILL I REGRET NOT DOING IT?"

If the answer is anything other than a solid "NO", then I'm all in.

IF YOU'RE LEANING MORE TO THE YES SIDE . . .

I have one more thing to tell you.

Remember - I've got your back

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I would love to help you move your program as well as your career forward.

Still Have Questions? You're welcome to reach out to me.

If you're still on the fence, wondering whether to take the leap, let me help you.

If you scroll up you will find a list of frequently asked questions that other members asked before joining Safety Management Academy.

But, if your question is not covered, I would be more than happy to hop on a Zoom call and discuss Safety Management Academy with you. Or you can email me at Brye@thesafetygeek.com.
